It Started in the Water

I never planned to build a brand.

I planned to get baptized.

In 2024, I walked into the Atlantic Ocean in Long Beach, New York. Not in a church. Not in a baptismal pool. In the waves, fully clothed, fully surrendered. And in that moment, everything I thought I knew about control, strength, and doing it on my own got washed away.

What replaced it was simple: His will, not mine. 

The Verse That Started Everything

Love1614 comes from one verse: 1 Corinthians 16:14.

"Let all that you do be done in love."

Not some of what you do. Not the easy parts. Everything. The way you work, the way you speak, the way you show up for people, the way you handle the hard days. All of it, done in love.

That verse became the foundation for everything we build.

What You Wear Can Change Someone's Life

Before Love1614 existed, I wore faith shirts everywhere. The boardwalk. The grocery store. The gym. And something kept happening. Complete strangers would stop me and ask what the shirt meant. Those conversations led to real friendships. Some of those people came to church.

One guy bought a shirt from us because he found me through a daily verse post. He said it was the first time he felt like he could wear his faith without feeling like he was preaching at people.

That is the whole point.

Love1614 is for the person who is bursting with faith but doesn't always know how to start the conversation. Bold enough to be seen. Soft enough to invite rather than lecture. You don't need a pulpit. You just need to be seen.

What We Build

Every piece of Love1614 apparel is designed to make someone curious enough to ask, "What does that mean?" That question is the open door.

We also write books and devotionals that go deeper into the faith that drives everything we do. Our 365-Day Devotional, "Do Everything in Love," is a year of honest, imperfect, Christ-centered daily readings written for people who want to go deeper with God without needing fancy language to do it.

Who We Are

Love1614 is built by Michael and Sandra from the beach in Long Beach, New York. We are not a corporation. We are two people who love God, love each other, and believe the world gets better when believers live out their faith, not loudly, not perfectly, but consistently and in love.
